Emmy Award winning Showrunner/Executive Producer Moira Walley-Beckett (FLESH & BONE) sits down to discuss her experience working in the writing room on BREAKING BAD, her transition to Showrunner/Creator of FLESH & BONE, and the upcoming CBC series ANNE. Moira will be moderated by showrunner Vaun Wilmott (PRISON BREAK). The interview will be followed by a 15 minute Q&A with the audience.

Executive Producer/Showrunner of the Starz series, FLESH & BONE

Moira Walley-Beckett is a multiple award winning playwright, television writer and screenwriter.  She is the Series Creator and Executive Producer of ANNE. 

Recently, Moira created FLESH AND BONE, a critically acclaimed Limited Series for STARZ.  The drama received multiple nominations and won a SATELLITE AWARD and a GRACIE AWARD in 2016. Before creating FLESH AND BONE, Moira spent six years as a writer and Co-Executive Producer on the critically acclaimed AMC series BREAKING BAD.  For her work on that show, Moira has won a total of three EMMY AWARDS, three WRITERS’ GUILD AWARDS, three AFI AWARDS, three SATURN AWARDS, two PGA AWARDS, a GOLDEN GLOBE, a PEABODY, and received a PEN LITERARY AWARD nomination.  

In 2014, Ms. Walley-Beckett received an EMMY AWARD for OUTSTANDING WRITING FOR A DRAMA SERIES for her final BREAKING BAD episode entitled “Ozymandias.” 

Before her tenure as a writer on BREAKING BAD, Ms. Walley-Beckett wrote on the NBC dramas RAINES and ELI STONE and PAN AM for ABC.

Currently, Moira has a feature film, THE GRIZZLIES, in pre-production with Kennedy/Marshall and Northwood Productions, as well as a new TV series in development. 

Ms. Walley-Beckett hails from Vancouver, Canada but resides in Los Angeles. She still takes ballet classes regularly.

Executive Producer of Fox's PRISON BREAK 2016

Vaun Wilmott is the Creator/EP/Showrunner of the one hour drama DOMINION which aired on SyFy. His first produced credit was a freelance episode of SONS OF ANARCHY.  Prior to that he sold drama pilots to 20th and FBC. In features, Vaun sold his first spec screenplay to Screen Gems/Lakeshore titled NO MAN’S LAND and has done several feature film rewrites.

Currently, Vaun is Executive Producer of PRISON BREAK 2016, the event series for FOX.

Vaun was raised in Davis, California and attended The University of California at Santa Barbara where he received a B.A. in Political Science.  He has never once seen a cow tipped.
